2nd VP Filing

Tabatha Clemons

Grant County Clerk

Grant County Clerk Tabatha Clemons is running for 2nd vice president of KACo.

She was elected to her third term as county clerk in 2022 and is the current president of the Kentucky County Clerks Association (KCCA). She has been involved with KACo for several years, serving on the boards of both the KACo Leasing Trust (CoLT) and the KACo Finance Corporation, in addition to serving as the legislative liaison for KCCA.

Clemons also serves on the Election Trust Leadership Circle organized by the Agora Institute at Johns Hopkins University, contributing to practical resources for election officials throughout the nation.

“County leaders make a real difference in people’s lives, which is why I decided to run for county clerk. Being able to provide services, work to improve laws, and make personal connections with our constituents is what sets county elected leaders apart,” Clemons said. “I am proud of the legislative work of county clerks over the past several years. We worked to receive historic funding in our land records and elections from the state budget, led the charge for election law changes, and embraced the new motor vehicle system, KAVIS.”

Clemons and her husband Joe live in Stewartsville right outside of Williamstown with their 11-year-old son, Jeffrey, and their 8-year-old daughter, Madalynn. They enjoy spending time on the farm with their pets, Buddy and Callie, and spend a lot of time at youth sporting events.
